This is the intro scene of Chapter 1 of 'A Knight's Tale', the first in a series of fanfic stories I'm writing in the MLP world. The stories are written to be as close to the show's format as possible (they could reasonably be called 'episodes' just like every MLP TV episode, with no shipping or canon-shattering truths being played out as facts!).

Yes and no, this comes into play a lot more in the second story. He's a 'Knight-Errant' and actually is just a messenger knight.. which lets him help Twilight when all the other 'real knights' are sworn to the Prince totally.
