Imperial Central Authority Cruiser (Heavy) by Lionel23 Imperial Central Authority Cruiser (Heavy) by Lionel23

I.C.A. Panther, the lead ship of her class (prior to the Battle of Storm Pike).

Nation: The Imperial Central Authority of Man, Reichland origin
Class: Heavy Cruiser
Role: Anti-ship, heavy escort
Unique Features: Forward-mounted primary weapons

Illustrated above is the ubiquitous Panther-class heavy cruiser.  Originating from the Reichland region of the Imperial Central Authority, this ship was crafted as a 'pursuit' ship to chase after fleeing pirates and rebels that should threaten their trade routes.  This ship is based off the Tone-class Japanse cruisers of WW2.

Her most unique (and visually distinguishing) feature is that all her heavy guns are located on the bow of the ship, serving as a 'chaser' or a battle engagement initiator - being able to fire her full complement of guns without having to go broadside.  Unlike armored cruisers, heavy cruisers are equipped with an adequate anti-air capabilities suite.  While not as impressive as a dedicated light cruiser, heavy cruisers serve as the perfect all-round mainstay ship of any taskforce or fleet.

The Panther-class is armed with twelve triple 8-inch guns (forward), four twin 5-inch gun turrets in shielded mountings (2 per side, center), and twelve MG3 machine guns (6 per side).

Jebus, those guns look nasty... This'd give my seafaring Territories trouble if the two came at each other on bad terms!

Epic warship designs.
I'd love to see what a Dreadnought class would look like.

Nice. Based off of the WWII Japanese cruiser Tone and Chikuma?
