Shistaven Commando

The Shistaven are an exiled people from the other animalistic tribes of this world (being exactly one of the Thirteen tribes). After the Imperial Central Authority took over their great forest, the Shistaven fled west into exile to live out quiet and peaceful lives under the wise leadership of their Elders. However, due to their beastial nature and the ever oppressing threat of the Authority, the Shistaven still employ an elite group of fighters in times of need. Relying less on numbers than other countries or races (due to a much diminished population), Shistaven Commandoes are trained to be light of foot yet are able to swiftly and fatally strike like their much destinguished physical feature: their claws.

Commandoes are equipped with M3A1 submachine guns - otherwise affectionately known as 'Greasers' - with a folding stock. Being of small design, compact, and light, Commandoes are able to strap the gun to their chest or back and quickly run on all fours for top speed. Ideally, Commandoes operate in outdoors environments and under the cover of night, as neither adversely affects their ability to perform or see (natural night fighters). When they have overrun or flanked an enemy position, they may choose to engage in brutal short range fighting by unlatching their Greasers or may choose to leap and lunge at the enemy with their razer sharp claws. Their form-fitting uniform is designed to be minimalistic (carrying only the essentials for the operation and being streamlined and tight to not cause a tripping hazard when they are running for top speed) yet light enough to be cool and breathable.
