Tek'ron-The Fortress Monastery

Tek'ron is located in the furthest, northern reaches of the Republic where the Caleoyus River pours from the northern mountain ranges (eventually snaking its way to empty into the ocean near the Twin Capital of Tel'ron). While Tel'ron is the administrative and civilian center of the Republic, Tek'ron on the other hand is the religious and military center of the Legion. Is is also here that the Consul of the Frontier Legions is stationed (while Tel'ron's Consul deals more specificially with interior/home security).

The city itself is located deep within the territories of the Imrahael Tribe (the bronze race of Arcadians) that are known for being the strongest, toughest of all the Arcadian subspecies. It is also the single most important religious site in the entire Republic, with a Monastery Cathedral within the central hall of the fortress that is dedicated to the Dragon-Father Drathis. Most other cities and towns have small shrines or - in the case of Tel'ron - a modest sized temple.

The main city is separated from the fortress by a massive stone bridge, while the very cliff-face and mountains of the fortress are littered with bunkers, towers, and various cannon and gun emplacements. Designed to be 'siege-proof', much of the fortress is built directly into the cliff-face while various passages and tunnels run back further into the mountains beyond, thus making the fortress especially difficult to isolate from the outside. The Caleoyus Falls is depicted pouring to the left of the fortress, while various smaller tributaries and streams can be seen emptying into the Caleoyus River basin on the right near other portions of the fortress (and providing plenty of clean water sources for the defenders inside).

Being the Legion's principle staging city, the A.R.S. Red Liberty ([link]) is permanently attached to the city's garrison force to aid the fortress in the event of an attack (and can be seen docked on a lower landing near the falls), while at the same time the city hosts a modest river-based naval force capable of providing mobile protection to both the city and fortress.
