Deviation Actions
Hey all! Just a minor update and a shout out for some feedback (as I can't do polls as I lack premium membership). Due to much feedback and lots of idle thought, I've decided to make some additions to Equestria Expanded. Whether it gets added into my overall storyline is still up in the air, but that doesn't stop me from coming up with something so other fans can use the material as they see fit (with proper credit of course).
Canada I've decided to go with Mooses as their signature animal species, pretty much a given there. But the Griffin Kingdoms/Empire is the real treat. I have four 'general' ideas to base their history and looks on, and I would like everyone to comment on which theme they like best. The list below:
1) The Nation of Georgia (Middle Ages) - Centered around 'David the Builder' and 'Queen Tamar', this was Georgia's Golden Age in which the country drove out the Seljuks. Attire seems pretty cool with their Queen as seen here: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia…
2) The Nation of Hungary (Middle Ages) - A major medieval power, their crown seems to imply some uniqueness: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia…
3) The Nation of Bulgaria (Bulgarian and Ottoman Empire) - Rich in history, unique ethnic clothing ideas: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia…
4) Palmyrene Empire (Roman era) - Centered around Queen Zenobia, she led a famous revolt and briefly broke away from the Roman Empire and caused them much trouble. An interesting idea for a 'unruly' griffin neighbor that causes headaches for both the Roama ponies and the Tsardom of Muskovy.
5) EDIT: Poland, Finland, Scotland/Ireland have been recommended. I had them on my original list, so I'm open to any other suggestions befitting the Griffins. Please leave any of those ideas in the comments section and I'll give them a look again.
Your feedback would be greatly appreciated! In other news, I'm still writing but have been preoccupied as of late with some major things going on in life - mainly my family is planning to move to another state and the whole moving/finding job thing.. bleh! I hope to have an update up on my stories again real soon! Also, discovered this new anime airing called "The Irregular at Magic High School" and I absolutely LOVE it! Not only do MANY of the characters match up or remind me of some of my current original characters (Coltrane, Roan, Angel Song, Knight Light, etc), but the show's take of 'magic = technology' is really intriguing, as well as the conflicts, character development/interaction, and fight scenes being very well done!

Honkai: Star Rail (A Must-Recommend!)
So I picked up and started playing Honkai: Star Rail and I have to say I'm super impressed. Has a very strong singleplayer feel of a JRPG, writing is superb as well as the graphics and gameplay. Highly recommend this gem to anyone who loves good JRPGs. I thought it was going to be like an MMO-lite like Genshin Impact (which I didn't play) or Tower of Fantasy (which I did, and my friends compared it similarly to Genshin) but it turns out its definitely more a singleplayer experience! Super refreshing and a must-recommend from me for anyone looking for good game and graphics and an excellent storyline without abusive and predatory monetary microtransactions! In other news to those who don't know, I'm working on a Visual Novel project (hence my silence) using a lot of my characters, and I want to thank those who encouraged me in the past to take my MLP characters and 'make something of my own' with them (ie not ponies so I wouldn't be restricted behind Hasbro's IP). Caught Covid, Oof!
Hey all! As you may have guessed from the title, me and my whole family caught Covid over the weekend. Luckily we're all OK (my mom bounced back in 2 days, I have been bed-ridden 4 days and still counting and my dad was the last one to get sick and is also stuck in bed). Moment in History: Russia Invades Ukraine
Hello everyone! Figure I would make a post about this as I follow politics and global news very closely, and I saw this coming but for it to be actually happening... wow. Russia as of this very moment is launching a massive invasion of the country of Ukraine. Missile strikes have hit the capital of Kyiv, Russian airborne troops have seized the International Airport (or are at least battling against Ukrainian forces there), a massive amphibious operation near Odessa is going on and hundreds of thousands of Russian troops are pouring across the border. My thoughts and prayers are with the Ukrainian people, and I by God wish the world would do something to help them out, but seeing how President Biden and Europe has been tip-towing about how to punish Russia and how dependent many European countries are on Russian gas... this might be a foreshadowing of the 'Appeasement' policy that was done to Hitler. New Projects - Ark Polaris and Azur Lane
Hey all, so just wanted to post an update to my journal now that I got my one political journal entry out of my system! Back to just doing the arts and stories again! So what have I been up to and what's been happening? A lot of things, been a super busy year for me (hence my lack of updates) as I got a job, then the whole COVID thing happened and I transferred over to Work-from-Home... and well, now I'm unemployed after recovering from a pretty bad medical issue that hit me that left me in bed for over two weeks. Today is the first day I finally feel back to my old self, and man it's great to walk around again! XD So a status on what I've been doing, I got several commissions going on with a big personal project I'm doing as well as a fan comic for the game series Azur Lane that I've been playing with a friend from Bronycon. i don't know much about historical cultures , but i do know some about hungary since that's my heritage and i played aoe2 , which i would suggest you play to get a feel for how the huns were maybe lol.....
there's supposed to be an interesting story behind the bent top piece of the crown , but i forgot what it was or maybe i never even knew what it was....
im not so sure about turning the huns into gryphons though , while their personalities seem to match up quite well the huns were known for their beastly horse back combat , again you can play aoe to see what that's all about.....
